I am a professional corporate pilot working in the aviation industry for over 20 years. I decided to take my long term hobbies of drone flying and videography/editing pursue a business. I have been editing videos and creating small personal movies for many years. So some time back, it only seemed appropriate that I would add a drone into my video work. I enjoy video editing in a sequenced layout, creating town reels or fantastic hyperlapses to highlight an area. Aerial photography obviously goes well with videography. So from a real estate perspective (commercial or residential), I do a full package to include a 360 degree video walk-through of the property, combined with aerial photos and aerial orbiting videography. Construction project management really benefits from that package allowing the developer to not be local yet monitor the progress in every way required for project management. For an added layer, I like to take the progress shots and edit them together (with color correction) to get a great start-to-finish video showcasing the entire development of the project. I also enjoy doing inspection work. With an onboard optical zoom and waypoint planning, it makes getting great visibility to components much easier and cheaper, providing more accurate assessment and measurements.
